Joe Chiu currently serves as a consultant to Changi Airport Group (CAG) on digital, data, and AI programmes and implementation strategies, following 15 years as Vice President of Digital & Data Management Systems. In this role, he works closely with key stakeholders to strategize, drive, and implement enterprise IT programmes aligned with CAG’s digital and data transformation roadmap, with the goal of delivering more personalized and user-centric services through the adoption of IoT sensors, digital services, data analytics, and cognitive technologies. More recently, Joe has been actively promoting AI adoption within CAG by establishing AI sandboxes, developing MVPs, and delivering AI awareness and training programmes.
Since 2014, he has mentored and advised NUS MSBA Capstone students attached to CAG as interns, supporting their work on enterprise IT projects across digital, data, and AI domains. He provided guidance on user requirements gathering, design thinking, agile development, critical success factor planning, actionable insights development, slide preparation & presentation skills.
