How is the Capstone project going to be conducted for part-time students?

Our part-time students should start their Capstone project module in Year 2 of their studies. Students are strongly advised to work with their current company and propose a project from their company. The advantages of doing so are: (a) this would likely not much affect the students' regular work and (b) being more familiar with the company, students are more likely to produce a good report for the module.

Is there career planning support provided for students in the MSBA programme?

We are supported by the NUS Business School Career Services office who can meet with students for career planning.

The programme is made up of 8 modules and one capstone Professional Consulting Project. Would we be able to read more modules than required?

A request to read more modules will have to be approved by our Academic Committee.

How much does this programme charge for modules read over and above the programme’s requirements?

This will be decided on a case-by-case basis.

Where can I get a copy of the full descriptions and prerequisites for modules offered in the MSBA?

The MSBA modules are offered by NUS Business School, School of Computing, Risk Management Institute, Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health and Faculty of Science. If you have an enquiry about a particular module, you may find out more about the modules offered in this programme from each school using this link.

How do I get module waivers?

You can send in an official request for a module waiver upon official matriculation into MSBA. This has to be done by Week 1 of the semester. The Academic Committee will consider your application, and approval is on a case-by-case basis. If your application is successful, you will have to read a graded replacement module in place of the waived module.
