Transcripts / Marksheets and Degree Certificate

For the online application, you can upload scanned copies of your attested transcript/ marksheet/ degree certificate/ diploma via the portal for our preliminary review of your application.

However, the official transcripts and attested copy of degree scroll/ diploma for your application will be required after you are offered a place in the programme. The official transcripts must be sent directly by the institution/university to:

GRE or GMAT scores

Official scores must be sent directly by the testing institutions to NUS Business Analytics Centre.

To expedite your application, you may also scan your unofficial score reports and upload it via the online application system while we wait for your official scores to be sent to us. You also need to provide your GRE/ GMAT results in the application portal under the "Other Tests" section.

GMAT code for NUS MSBA

  • For Full-time applicants, please select National University of Singapore- MS Business Analytics, Full Time DRT-FX-05.
  • For Part-time applicants, please select National University of Singapore- MS Business Analytics, Part Time DRT-FX-10.

GRE code for NUS MSBA

  • For Full time applicants, please select (GRE) Designated Institution (DI) Code 3558
  • For Part time applicants, please select (GRE) Designated Institution (DI) Code 3638

GRE or GMAT Scores

Please note either a GRE test or a GMAT test is required for admission, except for graduates from local universities – NUS, NTU, SMU and SUTD – with degrees in Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computing, Business or Economics. Strong quantitative analysis ability (as evidenced by either a superior GRE / GMAT quantitative section score or good grades in mathematics modules taken in the above-listed local universities) will be emphasized.


Upload your updated resume containing your education background, work experience, memberships in associations/organizations, achievements, international experience, etc.

Referees report

Applicants need to provide 2 referee reports. The applicant would need to enter the referee's email address via the application system. The system will send a request to your referees to complete a series of question via the link provided by the system.

The referees must either be from academic or from relevant industry or both.

Official Identification Documents

The following documents are required for:

  1. Singapore citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents - a copy of the NRIC (front and back)
  2. International applicants - a copy of your passport (applies to both the full & part time Programmes)
  3. International applicants applying to the part time programme - a copy of their employment pass (front and back)

Financial Support Documents

Please also submit financial support documents explaining how you are planning to finance your tuition fees and living expenses. You can use more than one financing option.

The supporting documents required for the respective financing options are as follows:

  • Self-sponsored students must submit EITHER bank account statements OR their latest income statement (endorsed by the company's Finance or HR department) with indication of your salary being credited to your name. 
  • Company Sponsored students must submit a Letter of Sponsorship signed and notarized by their firm. 
  • If you do not fall into the above categories, please provide adequate proof that you are able to meet the financial requirements demanded by the programme.

If you are not able to provide the above-mentioned documents, kindly provide a letter to state your financing options and the reasons for not being able to provide the financial support documents.

International applicants would need to show proof of having sufficient funds for the normal duration of the MSBA programme, after accepting the admission offers. Currently, the calculation of the required amount is based on $18,000 per year for living expenses, in addition to the tuition and miscellaneous student fees.
